Looks like Gary drew a blank and had to put a young lad on the bench today v Morton

Strange to see Alan Martin in his training gear and out helping the young goalkeepers warm up yesterday. Not something you’d expect to see an injured keeper doing.

Martin is the goalkeeping coach and I thought it was great to see him out there with the young goalies to help and encourage them. Others may have just taken the day off and not even bothered travelling down to Dumfries and obviously his injury is not too serious which could mean he will be back sooner than later. Thought Jack did fine in Martin's absence and looked fairly comfortable all game although he was rarely tested by Morton.

I know he’s the goal keeping coach but thought it was strange he was kicking shots at the young keepers after having a thigh injury

With Martin out the news is that our current reserve goalie Sam Henderson has been hit by a runaway cow and may also be out. I know that the training budget has been reduced but a runaway cow seems to be taking this to the extreme I take it we will now be in a position to bring in a keeper on an emergency loan.
