Apparently, there were a further 90 gun killings in the States yesterday, besides the school shoot up.

In 2015-16 (March to March) there were a total of 26 gun killings in the UK.

In 2016 there were 11,004 gun homicides in the USA.

    Why not Sinkov?
Obama had some effect in making changes, but if Congress says no to changing the 2nd amendment his hands were tied. At least he tried.
Trump is in the pro gun lobby and will find some excuse like - if all the students carried guns they could have taken him down. He has said that before.

And if you're out of your mind and want to kill people, you'll find a way, gun laws or no gun laws.
Sinkov, why then did Trump revoke Obama's law that made it more difficult for people with mental illness to purchase a gun?

Perhaps it has something to do with the NRA funding in the 2016 election. Here are ten individuals who received the largest funding from the NRA - all are Republicans

    Trump $31.1 million
    Burr $6.3 million
    Rubio $3.3 million
    Blunt $3.1 million
    Young $2.9 million
    Heck $2.5 million
    Portman $2.3 million
    Johnson $0.6 million
    Smucker $0.2 million
    Shelby $0.2 million

As you know, there is no such thing as a free lunch, so are you surprised that the Republicans generally support the NRA?

    Not good enough.

What IS it with America and guns?
All he sends is thoughts and prayers. He will deliver no action as he is totally in the NRA pocket. I can’t wait until Melania kicks him out!

The NRA though it’s Political Victory Fund rates politicians according to their actions on gun control from A+ in favour to F-
Of the 100 Senators 52 rate A- or higher.
It runs adverts against candidates not supporting it.
If Trump got £31m from the fund he’s hardly going to do much is he,
He sees the problem of mental health, His I suggest.

2/3 of those would have been suicides.
