Prediction League - Preston North End

Along with Bristol City, PNE are one of the surprises of the season in the Championship for me. They are currently in 7th place, only 3 points out of a playoff spot. Outside of a 4 game losing streak in October-early November and a 9 game unbeaten streak (5 wins, 4 draws) that followed it, they’ve been pretty steady. However, they haven’t lost in the Last three matches- wins against Forest and Hull with a draw at Brentford. Jordan Hugill was their leading scorer before signing with West Ham in January. It’s been scoring by committee since then. THey are 13th in the league in goals scored, but 5th in goals conceded. So I expect they’ll put up a solid defensive effort against us. We did jump out to a 3-0 lead against them in October, but they scored 2 to pull it back within a goal before full time. But we are on a roll in terms of results, so let them keep rolling.

In their last two games, Wolves have shown lapses in concentration and determination that could have produced far less favourable results. Tomorrow against P.N.E. I expect Wolves to remind the rest of the Championship just how good we really are..........P.N.E. 1 - Wolves 3 (Jota)......Go You Wolves !!!

We have lost only 1 in the last 14 games in the league and haven’t lost away from home since 4th November. This will be our biggest challenge yet but we are well up for it.

    PNE 3-2 Wolves
    Barkuizen to score

Good luck for the rest of the season but not tomorrow lads and by the way get some butter pies down ya
