Thumbs up O/T Supermarkets Making a Load of Dough on Bread

Supermarkets are making a load of dough on bread.
    I like Warburtons farmhouse bread.

At Christmas £1.00 at Aldi, £1.15 at Morrisons

Last month £1.15 at Aldi, £1.53 at Morrisons

    Yesterday £1.25 at Aldi ?

Morrison a rise of 38 pence & Aldi 25 pence

    They are making more money

If you remember when pound fell after brexit food prices from EU especially mars and unileaver products shot up. Now pound shot up a few week ago and prices have not gone down. It’s all a load of tosh excuses to rob us of our coins

The price rise on the bread is large though Animal, how can Morrison's supermarket warrant a 38 pence rise, around 33%.
    Aldi 25 pence rise, 25%.

I don't know mate to be honest other than the supermarket game is very competitive and raising prices unnecessarily could leave the door open for a competitor especially with a necessity such as bread .

I think Morrisons is a bit of a rip-off anyway.

Tesco and Asda are cheaper and Aldi and Lidl cheaper still.
