Thread: Scott Arfield popular

  1. #11
SA is solid midfielder who can fill in anywhere across the middle and he chips in with a few goals here and there, Hendrick would be out the door before SA. If Scotty goes then we can only realistically replace him with a young up and coming talent either that or we would be seeing one of SD4 JC JBG or RB/AL dropping to the bench as a squad player and I don't know about anybody else but to drop one of those to a squad filler role would take somebody with considerable talent coming in.
Marney Vokes & Hendrick are all ahead of Arfield when it comes to who I would let go

I hate to us the word servant but in Scotty's case he has been a fantastic servant for us.

Like a few others on here, I agree because there are at least six other players I would rather see leave than Scott Arfield.

I have to agree about Hendrick, whatever position he plays in I never see him doing anything Scotty couldn't do, and of course Scotty's doing it much cheaper.

    Name and shame them

Not about shaming them IDWT but I don't think Walters, Wells, Westwood, Marney and Vokes are good enough for a team with aspirations of breaking into the top half of the EPL on a regular basis. I was going to include Ulvestad in the list but I had forgotten he has already gone, which sort of justifies my opinion.

How can you say Wells isn't good enough when he hasn't been given a proper chance to show off his skills BT ?

Id have Marney in for Hendricks this Saturday if he's fit..

Clearly SD and Wells are not on the same wavelength and I have long supposed that Wells was forced on Dyche by Dave Baldwin, but that's just my own personal conspiracy theory.

No, we don’t unless we get a bid for him.

Hasn’t had a chance to shine at all.
