I remember my Dad telling me when he heard the Villa singing it in the late 70s that he had heard Hi Ho Tottenham Hotspur in the LC final in 71. Seems every club with 4 syllables latched on.
One that stands out for me was Wendy away in 91. They were up for it big time as we had pinched BFR off em during the summer before.
Hi Ho Sheffield Wednesday was blaring out of the tannoy in unison with 3 sides of the ground, quite impressive.
