We are the team to fear.

13 unbeaten, won today at league leaders, won last 6 games, scored in last 26 games.
We are the team to fear.
    Long may it continue.

Last two away performances tell me we have nothing to fear - and this is no 'flash in the pan' - this is the result of good management, steady progress and now reaping some of the rewards - what a contrast to last season

the 'immovable object' has just met the 'irresistible force' and capitulated today...

Agree, but I wouldn't like us to be playing Argyle in the play offs

I don’t particularly think they would like to play us either.

Always liked Plymouth. Great supporters and a full Home Park can be a very intimidating arena. Growing up they were at a similar level to us.
They went down with us in 67/68. They were the opposition when we pipped Barnsley to the Third Division title in 80/81.

Tommy Tynan left us for them and then got a hat trick against us.
More recently Ben Purrington moved in the other direction.
Fred Binney - older fans will remember him. He always bagged a few against us.

It would be nice if we both went up but there is still a lot of football to be played and no easy games.

Think people are beginning to realise it is no longer a three horse race and we are looking very strong in depth.

Didn't we beat Plymouth in 81 last game to clinch promotion?

Yes, 2-1 Rod Fern netted the winner in the Railway End - same day that Barnsley hammered Newport 4-0 at Oakwell, which is why we needed to win to hold on top spot, if I recall correctly

Correct. The late great Rod Fern got the winner at the Railway End.
