    Free agents

Surely Notts are exploring all avenues (although most of our attempts to sign anyone recently lead to a cul-de-sac) Did we ever enquire about Leon Best ? Also Nile Ranger or Jermaine Easter could be a short term solution ?

Charlie asked the same question post match, Nolan said they were looking at that possibility, but if nothing came of it he would be quite happy with the squad as it is, and that was the worrying statement for me.

Yeah he should have said that he was scared sh*tless of having to go on this season without bringing anyone in as his current options were sh*te, that would have been much better than trying to praise his current squad.

Did I say he should have said the squad was ****e? So you understand, I think he was talking *******s!! (at least he had better have been or he can't spot a better option).

Charlie pretty much is starting to get nervous, the same as everyone else that listened to the game, or watched it....if KN is happy, then I am a watching the wrong sport.....we can replay that same game 20 times and not score enough as Mansfield did against them 5 days ago....puzzled!

Too much emphasis on clean sheets stifles attacking options IMHO. We need wins now not draws .
Lots of mangers say they prefer 1-0 wins better than 4- 3 etc. not me admitted they can both be tense .

Well he would say he is happy with the squad. He certainly wouldn't admit to failure during the transfer window. In all, out of all the signings so far only Yates, Grant and Brisley have been any good. The rest are merely there to make the numbers up..

Dan Jones and Ross Fitzsymons (sp?) ?

Like all players at our level they have good and bad games.

    The rest have been poor.

**** me... it was only 2 weeks ago people were saying Husin is the best thing since sliced bread.
Has Ameobi not been a good signing?
I would also say Allesandra has been a good signing, when played on the wing.
It’s a bit early to say whether Ben Hall is a good signing but his first 2 games have been promising.
So all in all I think KN has assembled a decent squad and many of his signings have done well more often than not, which is why we are challenging at the right end of the table.
