Pointless the football being a little bit better if this means because of a lack of points we will get relegated and senior players steal a taxi. If this were you or me, we would be banged up! Whoever drove that taxi was no better than Lee Hughes who sadly killed someone, and this could have happened again to another innocent Joe Public. No doubt, Pardew was also wrecked hence why his wallet was stolen!!

I would rather stay in this league at all costs so Pardew all considered, is a bigger failure than what Pulis was - this year!

He needs to go and go quickly as at the moment can't even see us beating Huddersfield! What message did Pardew give by also playing those two players when it was a perfect opportunity to start Field? The man is clueless.
The message was not cutting off his nose to spite his face, with a squad that is already p1$$poor

It's a reciprocal agreement Al, I'm not a Pardew fan and believe he has way of doing things that in the end just peter out as he has shown throughout his career...maybe if the board had stepped up to the plate in January it might have been different, but did they care about the eventual outcome, isn't Pardew big mates with one of them (I haven't checked that out) maybe they were happy to take the money regardless.

For the record, after his experience with his son going ape5hit on a video resulting in him getting the sack I don't think Pearson would have allowed the Barcelona fiasco to have happened.

Agreed GLM - Pearson certainly could do no worse, and certainly would not allowed the disgrace in Barcelona. I have said for ages the Board are at fault regardless of who the manager is - even the wages of Sturridge were covered by a youngster going. I can't see us winning 6 games under Pardew but would we under Pearson or anyone else - there would be a better chance so personally, I would twist! Nothing to lose and certainly would not want Pardew if we go down!

I get that especially if we had won! Barry though looked as if he was still suffering from a hangover so it back fired! The Cup was also the time to start Field and any other youngsters as the real cup final is this coming Saturday!

Pardew : won't go he will have to be pushed he will stay on for his money , which you couldn't blame him for that , as for the club as an whole we are like a ship without a sail just drifting in to oblivion,
Sad times for all Albion fans concerned , for a hell of a long time its the most depressing ive felt as an baggie fan for years & probably the for the first since i joined the boards , 😭

Can't blame Pardew at all Johnny but blame the person who gave him a 30 month contract and blame Hammond for still being there, and no doubt being in on the old boys act! I really can see us either getting beat against Huddersfield or at worst - a draw!

Its too late in the season to bring in a new manager. How many weeks for a new manager to get a team to gel? 4 maybe?...thats 4 games gone. Hodgson has done a great job at Palace but his results initially were poor. Its too late. Anyway I thought a lot of folks on here were saying how good Pardew was? How much the football was better and it didnt matter about the results as long as it was more pleasing on the eye?

Al you say the football is better?

Foster booted every goal kick upto rondon't yesterday, so not very flowing football.
As for West sham, irrelevant club who don't even own their own ground anymore.

Most people aspire to own home but they did the opposite for a quick buck.

Carvahal didn't need 24 weeks to rejuvenate Swansea, just the incentive to prove himself in the shape of a massive saviour bonus and a short @6 month contract which meant sort it quick or you are out.

Our saviour is on the p1!ss in Barcelona and sitting on a 30 month contract instead of his p45 like he was a year.

If we stick with him then we are definitely down, if we change manager we have a slim chance and the new bloke may impress us even if we go down giving us some hope for next season.

As it stands who really believes that prikdew will inspire St sales next season if we go down, when every penny counts.

Fans can blame taxi gate solely on the cab 4, but I asked before can anyone recall such an indisciplined incident on a training break or tour before under any other manager's watch.

Made me laugh and must agree with you! Twist and we have a chance but can anyone honestly see Pardew winning 6 games? You are right about Swansea and look at them now! Brighton do not have a better squad than us, but Houghton no doubt, will see them over the line....... Huddersfield for sure, will come for the win on Saturday and with Pardew, I can see them getting it!
