Budgets are not the be all and end, but what it does do is ensure there’s a depth of squad to ensure competition for places and likely more consistency.

Our budget is such that we have inconsistent players, if they show any promise or consistency, they’re off to earn more wages.
That’s a problem that not only us are impacted with.

Your correct, my point was about consistency.
Some here expect to maintain our high level against the bottom 6 and have a Hibsesque performance against the top 6.
If we had players capable of that consistency, they wouldn’t be here long.

The reference to Leicester and how all the stars aligned for them is to be honest, a never seen before phenomenon.

We have consistently achieved second place and achieved circa the 70 point mark for the last 4 seasons.
It’s a huge jump to get to 85 points (never achieved outside the cheeks).
Even with a record breaking total of last year, you guys expected more.
Unrealistic expectations in my opinion.
