Thought he played a blinder today. Undefeated after the split, when the pressure was on. Well done McInnes.
Last match of the season for Del today. A pressure match against Celtic and we need a victory. We will need to score goals and defend well....I expect neither really and think the usual capitulation will occur in Glasgow. He has assembled a team who don’t turn up for high pressure matches and I really hope this gets addressed in the summer so we can push on. Rangers could end up being above us in the league today and they have been a joke this season. The difference between the teams is acceptance of defeat. We tolerate it as a club far too easily and that is one of the reasons we play meekly during certain matches.

Well done for today and the post split games. Credit where its due
Only 9 points behind the pigs in the end. What could have been if he had balls earlier on.
Form has been decent since turn of the year, 4 defeats in the league isn't too bad, the only thing that's irritating is the semi capitulation to Motherwell, aye there is room for improvement but who can we get in as a replacement, second place finish in the last two seasons when everyone was saying that the league was between the Huns and Tims canna be sniffed at.
Would love to see a bit more cash released to buy in the quality we need to put in a sustained challenge, 9 points behind Celtic compared to 20+ over the last few years is surely showing the board that it's now maybe time to spend.
Best end to a season for a while and it needed to be. Get some more consistent players in and replace the quality ones we lose with equal quality and it will be a good stepping stone for the new season. Easier said than done though without a doubt.
Everyone expects Celtic to win the league as they are clear favourites. Our manager certainly let us down this season due to his negative tactics in bigger matches and even just setting up teams to try to contain the likes of Motherwell which we ended up paying the consequences. Our quality in forward areas has been poor but just chucking players in and chopping others didn’t help. McKenna coming in during the season certainly helped the defence as we were looking extremely fragile at times. He has a lot to learn but is certainly a bright prospect who will keep improving.
This is certainly a season that could be described as an IF ONLY.
He enjoyed that today as much as we did. Some people's predictions for today, including mine, were well off the mark.
Delighted for him.
Would it be too much to say that this win today could maybe be the game that gives DM the confidence in himself to start being more positive in the so called bigger games next season.
