Use the cash to pay off McInnes, replace McKenna & sign a winger & creative midfielder.
How many buttons is McKenna worth now?

I was previously of the opinion that we should keep McInnes because I couldn’t think of someone who could come in & improve us.

    Now?

    I just want change.

It’s not my job to get a replacement or think of a name.

    The team is regressing.
The recruitment has been sh1te. AGAIN.

McInnes has taken us as far as he can.

He won’t get sacked. Not yet.
Maybe if we finish out with the top 3 again he might.

For talking sake, who knows who we’d look at.
We can imagine one or two names who’d get linked.

    Robinson
    Adams
    Strachan

That’s who the press would link, they’re not my suggestions.

As I say I just feel now is the time for a change.

However, I’m farting in the wind just now, it ain’t happening.

It is becoming clearer and clearer that he is Championship level at best. His concentration levels and game awareness is nowhere near good enough for the Premier League. He has good physicality and decent enough speed but it's just so easy to beat him by playing one two's or other cute passes on the ground that he simply isn't good enough to defend.

F ucking idiot is saying “he opened up too soon” with the changes.
We were one down with SIX defenders (& Jon Gallagher) on the pitch.
Maybe you were too negative from the start you a*se?

Hibs and now Hearts have better managers than us. Those 2 would have been high on my list had we got rid of Mcinnes.

That’ll probably be shown next season.

I have many criticisms of McInnes but the biggest one for me has been his abysmal attempts to replace players that have left with anything like the same quality, whilst spending much more money on much inferior players. See below for what I mean

If everyone was fit here is what our best team would have looked like in 2016/17 when we spent £7.8M on wages.

    Lewis

    Logan
    Taylor
    Reynolds
    Considine

    Shinnie
    McLean/Jack

    Hayes
    Christie/Madison
    McGinn

    Rooney

The following season (2017/18) we spent an extra million pounds or so (wages £8.6M) and had the following best team

    Lewis

    Logan
    McKenna
    Arnason
    Considine

    Shinnie
    McLean

    Stewart or GMS
    Christie
    McGinn

    Rooney

Now this season we don't know how much we are spending on wages but last season we spent £9.2M and we are told the budget has gone up again this season, so say £9.7M and this arguably might be our "best" team

    Lewis

Logan (a much inferior version compared with 16/17)
    McKenna
    Considine
    Leigh

    Bryson
    Ojo

    Hedges
    Ferguson
    McGinn (see Logan comment)

    Cosgrove

So we are spending the better part of £2M on our current "team" more than we did in 2016/17 for a team that is man for man very significantly poorer as seen by the dross we are watching week in and week out

So who is going to take responsibility for this and carry the can for this serious mismanagement?????

I’d imagine it’ll be Mark McGhee as usual
