I would imagine our coach will be on their radar, don’t know if the odds reflect that and there will be plenty of candidates, tbh I cannot see him going anyway if offered, much to the disdain of 5 or 6 on here.

Lets face it, Stoke want promotion. It might not be this season, but they will push for it next season. That rules DM out straight away. If it was a case of battling relegation and keeping them in the Championship, he would be ideal candidate. That said, I dont see how David Moyes ticks much boxes either. He's been a disaster since Everton, but he has the 'name' though. I cant imagine too many Stoke fans would be excited by Moyes in all honesty.

All that aside, I actually think Derek would make for a decent manager for Stoke.

I think it will be Peter Crouch as player/manager. He is head and shoulders above the rest.
