I went through a period of posting quite a lot but then the forum became predominantly a place to b*tch about McInnes and I've pretty much said everything I have to say on that subject. It's not as though I'm going to change anyone's mind or particularly care to.

But I am somewhat impressed that you manage to include the obligatory swipe at McInnes in nearly every single post (even Mason changes it up a bit as there are at least six people he hates at any given time). I can't help but feel a slight sense of awe at such dogged persistence to the pursuit of the inane.

We all have different opinions but don’t let that put you off posting more lad. I think Del could do himself a great favour and really have a go at Celtic the next time we play them and then he could possibly win a few doubters over. I would much prefer watching an attacking Aberdeen team has a go at them but that is my preference. I don’t think McInnes has the balls to try such an activity as he hasn’t tried it previously against Rodgers at Celtic. I cannot remember a match where the Celtic keeper has been truly tested which is ultimately a shame especially on our own turf or in a cup final (where winning is the only way).

Would be a good job at a big club, but I agree, unless it was financially ridiculous he wouldn't go. I think it would be a big ask to turn around.

If, and that’s a big if, he was asked, I think he’d at least talk to them.
They’re a decent sized club, with s very good infrastructure & fan base.
They are potentially a premier league club.

I think he’d at least want to hear what they have to say.

Benfica sacked their manager when i was in Lisbon last week. Maybe Derek should bung in his CV. He could get fine weather most of the year and keep his tan. Then again Sporting play in green and white hoops. Hed make tactical mind farts against them and get beat all the time. That would be nae use

It's a decent sized club and the owner is wealthy enough, local as well which is a bit too old school for guffball.

I still can't see how it would be attractive to anyone that's not desperate for a job.
