    Sour grapes,Hurst !!!

On a poor pitch which did not suit our way of play, we nevertheless comfortably beat Shrewsbury. Here are the stats. 52% possession, shots 11 against 5,on target 5 against 2,corners 6 against3 but they did beat us on fouls conceded which was 19 against 11.We have improved throughout the last few months with this young squad but it was good to see the "old man" of the team,Richard Wood score the winner.Keep it going Warney, you're a winner.

Yes, Hurst wasn't exactly gracious in defeat was he? Still, I don't suppose the home fans would have been pleased if he had been honest and admitted that the Shrews had been out thought, out paced, out passed and out fought all afternoon. There was only one team at the races and that was us.

Sky sports said only one team in it Rotherham during the first half, unlucky not to be a couple of goals up at least, then said second half got a bit scrappy, but 3 points to the Millers, best team won.

What did the diminutive Wednesday fan say about the match?

Whatever he's said he's not going to admit the truth is he as you've pointed out

Sorry Paul, i still love you, but your tactics consists of hoofing the ball out to the wings, on a pitch that appears to have been narrowed. We were just better at it. Post match hourghts of home fans seemed to be along the lines of bullying and biased refs. Wait till you get championship officials.

Interestingly enough their fans thought we were long ball merchants and "overly physical" even though they had twice as many free kicks against them ....for which they think the Yorkshire ref sympathised
