No need to take sides on this one for me.
Anyone who is a friend of Colonel Pinochet is no friend of mine.
And anyone who is a traitor to my country is no friend of mine.
To hell with both of them.
Whatever he did He supported our troups in the Falklands.
Now BT if you really want to read how many deaths have been caused by Marxism you will find whatever Pinochet did was chicken feed in comparison. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mass...munist_regimes
Why not read how many have died under Putin or been sent into isolation. There is no comparison.

Or try China.

can't believe or trust any of the statecrafters - they all work for the same bloodline and play together in the same game....we the people, are just the means for their ends.
..
So here go the diversionary tactics to avoid the issue.
Thatcher left politics 28 years ago, but she had the sense to expel Jeremies friend in 1989 first.
I’m not surprised Jeremy and his friends had “cups of tea” with communists who turned out to be spies. He’s a naive man.
is it alright for the left wing BBC to ignore these allegations?
He is closely linked with the IRA too. Another people friendly organisation.

I honestly don't know why people concern themselves about politics and politicians.
They all do what suits them, they don't consult us about anything they intend to do, they just get on with things under the umbrella of 'representing their constituents' etc., etc.
I didn't vote for my local MP, therefore, he is not interested in what I think he should do or how he should represent me, although he does speak when I go to watch the local football team play.
He is the Chairman of the Labour Party and one of JC's right hand men so what chance have I got? As much as the majority of people throughout the country so....................................why worry?
I just feel disenfranchised Supersub. I don’t want to vote Conservative, I would vote Labour but for that two hat Corbyn. I like the Lib Dems but I am a committed Brexiter so we go our separate ways.
An Independent view of her UK legacy and how Blair copied her.

Internationally she was and still is our greatest leader since Churchill, hammering the EU for. Rebate, helping influence Reagan and Gorbachev to bring down the USSR and the wall and taking on Argentina over the Falklands.
Neither May nor Corbyn show any leadership at all.
OC--I regret to say that, in this PC era, we never will have any great leaders because, once someone shows some gumption in getting to grips with the real problems, they will be shouted down and taken to the cleaners by the PC crowd or whoever else jumps on the bandwagon and we will blunder along as normal.
This has been highlighted by the recent decisions to stop ladies working at F1 and the darts, even though they were happy to do the job.
Yes, there are things which need addressing relating to equality, the abuse of women, children etc., however, just what they think they are achieving by stopping ladies doing a job which they want to do is way beyond me.
I understand your point Supersub, but the decision to stop using these girls was a business decision by the companies - nothing to do with the Government.
