    Joe Thomson

    May have missed this somewhere but where was the midfielder yesterday ? Coincidentally in the club shop
    they had only cards of 4 of our new recruits but none of Joe ?

    Strange one right enough. Thomson was only at Livi for three games before going back to Celtic earlier in the season. No mention of either him or Martin's injury in Naysmith's pre-match notes.

    Incidentally, I was also wondering why there were only six subs. Where was Bell for instance?

    Why were the turnstiles at the Portland Road End closed yesterday ? (Nearest the ice bowl )

    Been closed for three games now and the poor guy who sells programmes adjacent to them has coped some
    earache from disgruntled punters.

    Never known those turnstiles to be closed. There cannot be a shortage of operators from the youth teams surely.

    i wouldnt be surprised if its a health and safety prob in this mollycoddled society we live in nowadays ,theres usually some flooding down at the bottom as you come in prob some happy clapper mollycoddled nutter complained lol .

    Any chance of this thread reverting to the O/P's topic - why was Joe Thomson not in the squad ?

    Naysmith said that Thomson was missing due to a clash of knees in a practice match and he had fluid on the knee and was getting treatment back at Celtic.
