By still being here for one thing. He’s played over 100 competive games in a good league, winning multiple awards on the way.

I’m not saying he’s Dino Zoff but he appears to have done everything asked of him & still got shafted.

Thats a massive change in goalposts. (Deflection attempt I presume)
However, the set up of football means that teams have only set periods of opportunity to evolve.
Scott Brown was an option and one which many preferred over Langfield. That said, as the transfer window opportunities evolved, he recognised it as an area he needed to strengthen in, got in Ward and eventually Lewis.
Remember some of Browns games came at a time after Ward was recalled and we reverted to Brown.
I therefore do not understand your point on Brown and how that has anything to do with the Rogers / Woodman debate.

DM / Marshall clearly thinks that Woodman is better than Rogers.
He's brought in as cover to allow Lewis to recover.

I think the fact that Rogers has not been offered an extension to his contract which expires this summer is another indicator that the management team don't think he is good enough to eventually be in goal for Aberdeen.
I presume they think they can get better or develop Craddock more than sticking with Rogers.

A good league maybe, but one of a lower level than ours. Plenty of players have left and wounded up in the championship, and many have said that was their level, it could very well be that it is the same for Rogers. A decent player, but not good enough to take us to the next level (whatever that is)

I think for some, this argument is about bashing mciness more than defending Rogers. I do wonder if this discussion would of rumbled on as long if it was a different manager.

The lower league still had some of Scotland’s bigger clubs in when he was playing. He still had to perform at Iprix, Tynecastle etc

I also think that due to the specialised nature of his position, that finding his level one league down isn’t a big of an issue as for an outfield player. That’s not to say there’s better keepers down there but they’d be easier to swap about without anyone really noticing a difference (not your stand outs like your Gordon’s, Lewis etc)

One thing I can say for an unequivocal fact, is that no one was bumming up Woodmans performances for Kilmarnock. He wasnt a stand out. Still isn’t.

I think for some, this arguement is more about needlessly rimming McInnes than it is slagging off Rodgers.

Rodgers shouldn’t have been dropped for Woodman. Rodgers can certainly kick a ball better and I have seen absolutely nothing in Woodman to suggest he is better with his hands.
Both games Rodgers played we won and his confidence would have grown.

He certainly was getting excellent praise whilst at Kilmarnock.

The Killie support was behind him as well looking at their forum

Here's even a clip of highlights in a game against Rangers.
I see McInnes was in attendance and would have noted Woodman's excellent display

Let me ask you, what has he been at fault for so far with

LOL, nice deflection attempt from the reality, but we'd rather discuss the merits of the keepers but are dragged into the managements teams decisions
