    Penalty

Just watched the highlights of the game on Sportscene. Cifcti's penalty shout debatable, but Aldred being wrestled to the ground by that donkey Broadfoot was an absolute stonewaller. Aldred would have scored if he wasn't pulled down so it should have been a sending off as well. F*** knows what the ref sees as he is only a few meters away.

Both were good shouts. Check Ciftci's claim on the club highlights and you'll see its a stonewaller. On BBC highlights Aldred's is a decent claim. We were hard done by.

Agree both incidents look like stonewall penalties but this looked the only way we were going to score yesterday. Our midfield or lack of it failed to create anything for our forwards. Yesterday’s game was like the home game defeats against Hibs and Aberdeen 1-0 defeats where we lost bad goals and created very little. Lose to Dundee and we are dragged right back into the relegation dogfight and we have one of the toughest fixture lists to play before the split. Manager has to find out his strongest starting eleven and injuries permitting he has to stick to it,has our players seem to be playing with different players and systems week on week. With the result their is no team understanding and positional understanding .

Yes, midfield has to get sorted. The dropped points against Partick and Killie could come back to haunt us but i do think we should have enough to stay above the relegation fight.

I appreciate we should never be complacent and the run earlier this season proved that again...but honestly, how can anyone think we're in danger of relegation? Since the break we've only lost twice, each by the odd goal to form teams. We play 11 more league games this season with seven of them coming against Dundee (4 points from 6 so far, and a win in the cup), St Johnstone (3/6), Partick Thistle (4/9), Hamilton (3/6, and a win in the cup) and Ross County (6/9, and a draw/win in the cup).

Motherwell have let us down badly in the past so hoping for the best while expecting the worst is understandable to an extent. But there's a fatality about some people which goes beyond all logic at times. We are not going to finish in the bottom two.
