I've slagged Lasogga and defended Felix. I've been wrong on both.

Lasogga's an old school CF and was obviously badly out of shape and still nursing some knocks. However, he tries hard and he's a handful in the box. Probably not a full 90 minute guy but he's getting there.

Felix, just don't quite understand this one. he can be a brilliant shot stopper but seems to have the yips and doesn't control the box at all.

I think we should play BPF on wednesday. Playoffs aren't going to happen. Lets get him out there and see what we have in him. Saiz won't be in match shape and Berardi is solid back there. we will lose Jannson sometime in the next games for yellow card accumulation. Let BPF have a game with a good defense in front of him.

Yes can't argue with you both about BPF getting a start at this stage. Just reckon he'll probably go with Lonergan until mathematically impossible, and then maybe given him a call up.

And re. BPF, what was the plan if Lonergan had actually gone? presumably BPF as back-up to Wiedwald since we clearly made no effort to bring in another keeper in Jan. So if AR/Orta et al had thought BPF was good enough to be our back-up then they can't now say they don't think he's good enough to replace Wiedwald, so yes, give him a try

the only positive is we are nowhere near the bottom six just yet , and three quarters of the way through the season .

we are in freefall and more defeats are very likely in the next few matches .

we have an horrendous goalkeeper and defence , that continue to make the same mistakes on a regular basis .

at least half this side are nowhere near good enough , and will want replacing in the summer , but many know it wont happen and this club will continue going down the same old path, of bringing more dross in to the club , in another vain attempt to attain promotion on the cheap .

jansson is already looking disinterested, and it will be no surprise if he departs in the summer along with saiz .
