Just watched Sportscene and it was littered with terrible refereeing. There were heaps f@ck ups. Every game had at least one

    Lets start with us.

    HIVS v Aberdeen

1)How did Kenny McLean stay on the park after his lunge in the centre circle, he was on a booking and that tackle was pretty reckless. Probably saved us from a proper do-in

    Hamilton v Sevco

    2) Hamilton should have had a pen when their striker Ogkmpoe was held by the shirt when trying to attack a cross

3)Hamilton should have had a pen when Derek Fergusons loon was pulled down on the edge of the box. Hun b@stard Madden looking right at it

    Pigs v St Johnstone

4)Pigs should have had a pen when Steven Anderson handled in the box stopping a target bound shot. Ref looking right at it

    Motherwell v Killie

5)Well should have had a pen when the defender Boyd wiped out the Well boy. Linesman had to have seen it

6)Well should have had a pen when Broadfoot pulled the baldy boy down clear as day. Ref looking straight at it and was three yards away

    Partick v Dundee

7)Simon Murray gets a goal chopped off for offside that was never offside preventing him from getting a hatrick

    County v Farts

    8) Goal not given to County in the dying minutes when the ball clearly crossed the line and even more bizarrely an offside was given when Lafferty and Smith both playing the County boy onside. Could be costly for County in May

I thought there was a thing called spotters who sit in the stands and watch the BITBs. No refs ever seem to get punished for being utterly keech
And this weekend, other highlights shows all across the world would've flagged up similar incidents to hoodwink the viewing public into believing refereeing standards have slumped to an all-time low.

Why is it that whenever they cut back to the studio - whether it's a live broadcast or a highlights package - the very first instance focused upon, without fail, is the showreel of so-called controversial decisions, usually shown time and again from various different angles and in slow motion, with lines and circles drawn for our 'benefit', to convince us all that officiating is biased, gets it mostly wrong (when it doesn't), and is in desperate need of video technology that completely ruins football as a spectacle for the paying fan?

The standard of Scottish refereeing is poor compared to, say, in Germany or England, but there they have a more professional set-up and there is a far greater incentive to become a ref. In Scotland, there is virtually none so it's stretching it a little to expect much better than we get. And it's a bit crass to list the grievances of the previous weekend, using words like 'clearly', based solely on the highlights package without which you'd be none the wiser.

TV wants to stir the hornet's nest, the suggestion being that officiating across the board is dire and needs an overhaul - it really doesn't. It's arguably better than ever, with less mistakes made (and a very, very small percentage that affect the result of a match) and this insistence on homing in on the few that are is totally skewed.

I think you've fallen straight into the trap and the more people that follow suit, the more the game will be ruined.

Right call wrong explanation. Lafferty is still active even though he is off the pitch however there must be two defenders infront of the player before he is offside. Most of the time this is a keeper and a defender however not on this occasion.

    Bizarre decision
I agree that the County players weren't offside but that's with the benefit of slow-motion replays and still-photos. You do realise that the ref and linesman dinna hae that luxury , don't ya ?

Personally , I canna really blame the linesman for nae realising in that split-second that the Hearts lad's leg was playing them onside. Certainly nae bizarre or preposterous or any other drama-queen decsription

Kyle Lafferty booked for diving when it was in fact a f@cking stick on pen. Where the ref saw a dive is beyond me

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

    Karma's a bitch.

Couldn't happen to a more deserving cheat. Only about another 150 to go for the world to be in equilibrium again.
