    It's a no from me.

I'm all for giving people a second chance no matter how much it sticks in my craw. However, this clown has had multiple chances and doesn't seem to learn. If there was a 100% guarantee his behaviour had changed then OK - however that's clearly not the case. I've enjoyed seeing the progress the club has made off the field over the last year and the effort that has gone into getting youngsters into following us - I think this would send all the wrong messages.

Wouldn't touch him with a barge pole. If we are in that bad a state with recruiting then heaven help us. I would sooner settle to gambling on what we have and chance it than bring him in. You think he would have the motivation to give 100% ? I don't.

No matter what he's like as a player, he is the kind of MAN who will disrupt and possibly destroy team spirit. If he's the answer to our prayers, we need to find a new religion.

That is remarkable for many reasons, not least the number of not guilty verdicts. Sounds like he's got good judgement in lawyers if nothing else!

Nolan describes him as a "complex character". Doesn't seem very complex to me!

Put it this way, if we sign him, then John Sheridan should put in for an increase in his compensation pay-out. Didn't we claim he was sacked because his words to the referee didn't reflect the club's family values?!
