Both boards have their strengths and weaknesses, I feel that this board has improved of late so feel the need to re-post. What I do like about MM is that OT are not separated. When you don't go to games it is hard to comment on latest performances and players etc. Hence less of an informed opinion. OT is also a barometer (if unrepresentative) of how things might be going back in the UK, so of an interest.

Good to see you back here, sickly_child. This board has its ups and downs but at least for now it seems a fairly peaceful place. I'm with you on the usefulness of the OT posts to gauge how people are thinking back in UK. Unlike some I actually enjoy the more politically polarised debates that often rage across several pages. There are some bright people on here from both sides of the house...

No I haven't Frog, main reason is that to watch it live would be getting up in the middle of the night which means knackered the next day. Unfortunately there is a long delay the next day before you can watch the game and wouldn't be able to wait without finding out the score. As soon as this is rectified I will purchase.

Hi. Wondered if you stayed up to listen to the weekend games. In NZ on holiday at moment but didn't manage to listen to Sat games. Managed mid week though. Hope you didn't get blown away in cyclone?

Hi Edinburgh are you in the South Island? Hope you are enjoying the holiday, amazing place really. Cyclone just clipped Wellington so no major damage.Parts of the South Island got smashed though.
I got into an awful habit of waking up in the night 5 min before kick off and unable to go back to sleep, often drag my arse out of bed and go and watch the scores. Usually at work for the midweek games so just have the beeb and MM match thread on the computer.
