Yeah, our friend from pboro has tripped himself up yet again, keeps the laughs going though !
To be fair, it's a testament to how much progress he's actually made that you think he should be getting an England call-up by this point, if he was being properly coached. At one point, you never thought he should be our club captain (http://boards.footymad.net/showthrea...5#post38224955), and you didn't think he'd be talked about as a £20m player (http://boards.footymad.net/showthrea...2#post38316452), and you used to think he would just make a good bench warmer (http://boards.footymad.net/showthrea...3#post38578113)... so I guess that in the time he's been with Rafa he's made enough progress for you to think he's outgrown what he can achieve at this club. It just goes to show what you can achieve with dumb luck really.

i just love the fact some one would take so much time to trawl over my posts
when he first came i didnt rate him
above colo etc
and i did think he was over priced
and if he went to chelsea he would be an over priced bench warmer
was that not what the discussion was about
and he still would be
i still rate mbemeba very highly
better than lascelles at a lot of aspects of his game
Maybe at Chelsea specifically he would be a bench warmer, but so is David Luiz at the moment. I can't tell the difference in the quality between Lascelles and then Phil Jones and Chris Smalling at Man Utd. But then again that constellation isn't the greatest ever at Man Utd.
I'd definitely pick him over Jones.
i wouldnt
he looks good gere as the most around him aint much
you have to admit lascelles looks good in a poor side
they look average in a side that has conceeded the less goals in the prem
i would say because of the quality aroundthem they at times dont look good
but they are doing their jobs obviously
and with only 19-20 goals conceded
doing it very well
i would say ;laxcelles is in the top 10 english centre halfs
but at the moment he wont be going to the world cup
i would say most praise him for his leadership skills than his actuall footy
I went to watch the Toon play Blackpool in the 1950s hoping to see the great Stanley Mathews.Talking to an old chap in the Gallogate and he said he won't play today son he never plays here, the pitch is too narrow for his liking.
