Absolutely dreadful game of football between two poor sides today with Queens once again resorting to the long ball simply lumped up the park. I was hopeful of the team showing some repeat of last weeks game where we played some decent stuff mainly on the ground. Naysmith stated that we need to be more consistent if we are to challenge for a playoff spot so then why did we then play such crap today. He again changed the formation with Dobbie up front on his own which is not on for a home match. This was so depressing today and may have finished any pretence we had for that fourth spot and the playoffs.

Looks like a turgid end to the season and with the Arabs to play three times yet who knows what may happen. Queens will no doubt stumble to finish 6th again with the Pars in 5th again too.
First half with dreadful and apart from a flurry in the opening spell of the second half things didn't get much better. Leighfield, Fordyce and Marshall getting pass marks, although I thought Mercer was decent and not sure why Rooney even got a start.

Why is Naysmith so upset about fans not supporting the youngsters like Dykes and Murray? Is this because of the David Weatherston article during the week for how he was feeling personally as a young professional at Palmerston? Fair dues to Dykes in playing in four different positions and his partner in labour. Fair enough!

The way it's going he won't have to worry about fans booing as there will be no fans left!.
We just don't win enough games at home. No wonder attendances are plummeting.

He's got no excuses now. He has a decent sized squad at his disposal, all signed by him. The problem is the players don't know what they're doing as every week he's changing it.
Same old story, going into games not to get beat rather than to win.
Starting Dobbie up front on his own at home. Have a word with yourself Naysmith!

Thought yesterday we were lucky to get away without conceding a penalty but the highlights show the ref got it spot on.

Shortest "highlights" package yet but enough to confirm that Jacobs was very fortunate not to have received the red card although he did have little option in that race with their forward who would have been clean through on goal. This is actually the definition of a red card in these cases!!!
