Agree with all the points raised Chris.
Still not given up on staying up just yet though - may well concede if we don’t get a win on Saturday, depending upon other results.
It is without a doubt the sport not the Albion that is the problem. Too much money both for players ans clubs, an over abundance of televised matches, the "touch me and it's a foul" syndrome. Something that "experts" buy into. The idea that us finishing 10th last season was an epic achievement is madness. We weren't set in the top flight for years because of this, we'd merely scraped a few points more than those below us.
It will be a lot more bearable and enjoyable in the Championship next season.

Lol. Was this an over reaction? Yes, enjoyed the read though. We have had some crap times that's for sure, and nothing has quite come anywhere close to the team we had before Man U took our manager and best players, way too short a time for a team like that to go. My frustration comes purely from the fact that we LOSE the stupid YO YO tag and finally cement our status only to go back to go do not collect £200 to struggle in the championship for however long that will be just because no one wants to dig deep in their pockets to kick on. Its just plain stupid. There's no excuse for it. None whatsoever. Anyway, rant over. Back to my Flu. lol.
Hello Boingy, I'm a little confused by your reply.
What do you feel was an over reaction?
You in the first instance, me in the second or you in the third?
All the best with the flu and don't use all of your tissues in one go as they may come in handy over the coming weeks .
Lol, no confusion, appreciate the encouragement bud It just wasnt as serious as I felt you took it. I am gutted, we all are but life goes on, and so do the baggies. Feeling even worse today with the flu, need 3 points on Saturday. Desperate for something positive from the team, but I fear more frustration and me feeling even worse on Sunday morning.
If the thread title and opening line weren't sweeping enough, you ended with a line from some sort of romantic tragedy.
Said in a dramatic Claire Rayner type tone:
"We get what we deserve. A Man U friend of mine said to me today "Feeling sick"?....I looked at him and said "We get what we deserve"....couldnt talk to him" ....... ( this is the image you placed in my mind) and then flounced off with skirt hem flying in the wind, crying, spending the rest of her life as a spinster in a darkened room because she couldn't bear the pain of going out and being seen in public ever again .
Just thought it was very 'Gone with the Wind' of you, which is why I suggested you should get a bloody grip .
COYB .
Note: for the benefit of Swedish Thomas, Claire Rayner was a pretty crappy 1980's Agony Aunt.
