OT Reading rock festival early 80's

There used to be an old guy was who Went on stage to sing the same song every year.

The song was called F**k it and the year I went the organiser said he could sing the song but he couldn't swear which obviously would be tough with a song called f**k it.

Anyway he got around it by dong the verse and turning the mic to the crowd and we all shouted the offensive word, so instead of one man swearing they ended up with 10's of thousands doing it.

Question is does anyone know who he is so I can try and find him on the net. Cheers
