What is the only English league football stadium that is not on the English mainland?
They are an English League Club.

The only one I can think of is Guernsey who are in the Bostik Football League Division South which is part of the English Football Pyramid system --therefore they are an English League Club whose stadium is not on the mainland.

Assuming Newport Cardiff and Swansea don’t count.
Thought it could be Blackburn as they are on another planet but more sensibly

My guess is Portsmouth as the town is on Portsea island, though there are bridges.

OC --Portsmouth was also one that I thought of, however, I dismissed it because of the bridges, however, because clubs in the pyramid who are below level 4 (League Two) are considered as non-League, my gues is that the answer in this case is indeed Portsmouth --well done OC.

Having thought more about it, this will be the answer because alf is in the know about this and he likes Portsmouth!!

That was my answer. Its half in England, half in wales. By all accounts, the Post code is English, so it doesn't count.
I'd just never heard it before? It reminded me of the 'what's the highest English league ground?' question.
I always assumed either you or Oldham.
