We just simply have to go all out win games from here on.
We have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
I still think we will get automatic promotion.
Gotta play all the gems around us yet.

You seem to have glossed over this AntiClough... Wonder why?
We are very obviously a better side whether he scores a goal or not, the team performs better and so do the players around him. Having him on the pitch is like playing with 12 men with the amount of focus he takes from opposition defenders whereas Forte is like playing with 10.
I worked out plus/minus stats for how well Notts do when each player is on the pitch. In early Jan it was Ameobi 0.81 goals for per 90 mins, Forte 0.80 for (Stead's was 0.61). Don't know what they are now. Ameobi had the run in the team when we were getting the absolute best out of Yates and Grant. These stats say more about individual player's productivity. No goals in the last 10 games is bad news for any striker.

But everyone knows you can throw stats around and it doesn't necessarily prove anything. It's strange, I didn't start this thread saying Ameobi should be benched and I'm still not saying that. Just that playing Stead and Ameobi together probably isn't going to get us the goals we need to go up and that we need to find a place for a Forte-type of striker who can get in behind defences. And the list of this type of player that we have at the moment reads....
