Celtic were looking to sign caulker at the start of the season, so caulker was the sweetener for the transfer window.

The boy spoke to Rodgers at start of the season, if the wanted to sign him then they would have at any time, he was a free agent, now Rodgers may have steered NM in the right direction, but NM still had to convince him to sign, and not just till end of season, 18 months, let’s give NM credit where due
