I’m sure he’ll get better but that was a shocking hour of football from Ryan Leonard.

The whole problem comes from poor first touches, just bad control of a football
2nd touch is either a tackle, or a hurried pass, or a hurried hoof upfield

There no more tired than any other team,
They've lost the creativity of Paul Coutts and Duffy can't be relied on for 90 minutes

We were crying out for that creativity in January but got holding midfielders instead who aren't going to create anything

Sheffield United, the only club that can't replace the creativity of a 32 year old and 29 year old

Diagonal ball after diagonal ball that takes 20 seconds to reach it's target. Every one of them unsurprisingly intercepted

They had their chance in January.
Creative attacking midfielders cost money so we brought in more holding midfielders to complement John Lundstram who was doing ok in that role anyway.

There is now a 70 yard gap between our midfield and attack, Wilder can see it, but the two most expensive types of players are attacking midfielders and strikers.......So guess what ?

If we are going to play a defensive midfield well we'd better all get used to hoofball again.
