Ive just heard the boss growling his way through another set of excuses on Motd, about refs not giving decisions etc.
Well he might be right of course and thats not really for me to decide. But he should think himself lucky that his Burnsley team arent in the Champship where the level of refereeing these days is appalling and its getting worse to be honest.

Then, one by one (starting with Brady) injuries really kicked in.

We are not a big enough club to take injuries to six key players and for it to be business as usual.
The games before Brady got injured at Leicester, we have had some good performances, along with:

    Arsenal (H) poor performance 0-1

    Swansea (H) won but poor

Newcastle (H) won 1-0 but poor performance

West Ham (H) drew with a poor performance

Huddersfield (H) drew with poor performance

Palace (H) won because of a bad back pass that gifted Wood a goal in which we was terrible & very lucky to win

West Brom (H) Lost, and yet again a poor performance

That makes 7 poor performances out of the 14 WITH most if not all the injured players in games before Brady got injured in the Leicester game, I can take the odd bad display but 50% is and should not be acceptable.

And as for your quote "We are not a big enough club to take injuries to six key players and for it to be business as usual"

You are right, but at least we can say we are the best Club in this League with most money in the Bank doing phuck all to help us on the field.

Indeed it was Alto, and in fact our win at Brummingham today was absolutely Dingletastic!!. Thats a word that will appeal to both of our teams fans isnt it.
We get ex Prem refs and officials at this level and most of the time they look like they havent got a clue. A lot of them seem to live up to the so called 'bias', which will always get suggested, but never proved of course.

I occasionally visit other teams forums - look at what they think - what we're up against etc....and see a lot of the same we get here - fans despairing at their teams performance - as today on a Saints forum, one comment that echoed many was Rubbish performance, boring game, dodgy in the centre of defence, crap in attack but scraped a decent point. nothing wrong with that I'd say - and as long as things change for the better - teams pickup their game - or play returns to a fitting level.....all becomes well - but when we supporters dont see a lift or change for the better - thats when we ask....why so ? - and nothing wrong with that, as it's a naturally healthy response to an ailing question - see something is broke and you seek a way to fix it - stop the decay etc....as here - I think we all agree and recognise the decay exists.....just that the sides have differing arguments as to how and why the rot set in - like was it unavoidable....should we just accept it - could more have been done to lessen it - and is enough being done to stop it.
Anyway - something good needs to this way come - because as we are now - watching us is the lesser alternative to watching paint dry.... .

    Cheers.

Looks like 11 games without a win is getting to Sean on MoTD.
Hope Everton’s winless run continues next week.
At least it wasn’t a loss and we are equal bottom of form table in the last 5 with WBA on 3 points, but somehow the teams around us are having fits and starts.

Why did he not bring on a sub or two,Vokes,Wood, or N'Koudou. What's the point of having subs if you are not going to use them.

Most Premier League teams can consistently field eleven physically fit, well organised, well drilled international players.

We are no exception! West Bromwich Albion and Stoke are currently in the deep do-do but a couple of wins will lift them right into mid-table.

The injuries to Brady and Defour have undoubtedly taken the creative spark out of our side.

But we still sit in SEVENTH place in the EPL.

Instead of constantly berating the Burnley players, Sean Dyche and the Burnley Board of Directors perhaps you should take your grievances up with the EPL hierarchy because the only two teams who dish up the sort of fayre you want Altobelli, are City and Spurs.

Unfortunately, the smallest provincial town team in England cannot possibly compete with a team who play at Wembley and the other team whose financial largesse knows no bounds.

Pope, Lowton, Mee, Ward, Cork, Gudmundsson and Barnes would all walk into most Premier League teams outside the top six. I really don't know what you want Alto?

Shearer suggesting that Westwood should have taken a yellow for the team and then they would not have scored-after the Saints ref obstructed him-

That's exactly what I said post match IDWT, Westwood should have cleaned Bobby straight out.

Three tactical substitutions from Dyche after the 88th minute, would have helped too!
