We tried being entertaining in Owen Coyle's Premier League season.

Result? Our opposing teams supporters were royally entertained.

    3-0, 3-0, 3-0, 4-0, 4-0, 5-3, 5-2, 5-0, 6-1.

As a Burnley fan, if you prefer entertaining but losing footy that ends in relegation then that is your opinion.

If you want us to spend big, above what we can comfortably afford, then that is an option that has been tried by Portsmouth, Leeds and other "big" clubs. I am happy that we are superbly run both on and off the pitch, and this gives me confidence that our immediate future is in the best of hands.

I am over the moon that we are in the top half of the Prem. And without our shocking runs of injuries we could easily be challenging for a top six position.

Be careful what you wish for Alto - we are old enough to remember how quickly fortunes can change in footy.

Whether our style of play may not be everyone's cup of tea, quite frankly I can't wait for Saturday and a chance to bite the toffees!

Players don't want to come to Burnley because the fans moan too much --even when they are doing well.

I enjoy the whole match day experience.

Meet the lads, then have lunch with my son.

On towards the Turf, have a couple of pints and enjoy the craic with a few Madders.

Then enjoy us pitting our wits against the Big Boys.

Did I mention we are SEVENTH in the EPL?

    Away days are even better!

Now you are sounding like John Bond

Just have a word with supporters of Portsmouth, Leeds, Sunderland, etc etc and ask for their views on spending big money to buy success.

We are in a very healthy state both on and off the pitch.

The model we are following is the only one for a club of our size.

Except for the fact that we didn't have any money when John Bond was the manager.

Yes, and no one told him that, or our directors.
