If we win against West Brom.

If we beat West Brom and Bournemouth lose away to Southampton, plus Brighton draw or lose away to Burnley....and then.....and then......Watford lose away to Tottenham on Monday, then we are guaranteed to finish 10th with 3 games to go for us....barring us going doolally and shipping a load of goals to scupper goal difference.

So potentially, we will only have eyes for those in front of us without bothering to worry about what's behind us.

I can see Watford losing to Spuds.

Can't see cherries losing.

ANd West Brom won't be the push over they were under Pardew. As much as i'm pleased for them they got rid of a **** manager, it's very annoying for us. With him in charge we'd of walked over them i reckon but now. . . .

It appeared West Brom weren't playing for Pardew but seem to be playing for their caretaker, which is generally the case with a large proportion of clubs that lose their managers by whatever means.

BUT, but, but, aren't you forgetting all of Pardew's good points. His modesty, his tactfulness, his demure pleasant attitude with people, his constant winning ways, his skills in management particularly man management, his constant and regular success at every single club he has managed without fail, his command of the English language, his respect for other more successful managers (almost every manager who has ever managed) his MODESTY. Oh I'm repeating myself.
