    The importance of Defour

It was so apparent yesterday the value of Steven Defour, he his the lynchpin for us the creator and the man that knits it all together, without him centrally we are simply a hard working team.
Moving forward to next year he is the standard of footballer we need to recruit, to firstly compete and secondly perhaps make us a little more attractive to watch,
He’s the biggest loss of al the injuries for me anyway.
( as a side note I’d have played two up top yesterday and if Hendrick plays play him in front of back 4 )

    Agree with that army.

And another massive miss is Brady. These two were giving us the X Factor. Hendrick is suffering as a result.

I think that Dean Marney could play an important role for the rest of the season.

We are missing energy and fire in midfield and I reckon Deano can transform our midfield.

Would if he still had the old skills and energy. With Arfield out now we don’t have many options left. Westwood seemed to score ok ratings, but isn’t a game changer unless he runs into referees again!
