Apology from the club over Millwall fixture info

We would like to apologise to our fans for finding out about a potential fixture change, through the away side.

Barnsley Football Club would like to clarify a recent statement from Millwall Football Club.

There has been a discussion regarding a potential change in kick-off time for the fixture against Millwall at Oakwell on March 17th. The match is currently scheduled to kick-off at 3pm, but there has been a request from South Yorkshire police to change this to an earlier time.

Barnsley Football Club will only release information when it is a fact. The release of this information prior to it becoming a fact has now created ‘speculation’ and caused unrest amongst fans. This information was released without any prior contact to Barnsley Football Club from Millwall and we can only apologise for this being released.

We will of course update fans as a priority when this issue has been finalised.

St paddys day. Here in the UK it's celebrated more than st George's day for whatever reason The'll be pysseeards art all day in various places pretending they're Irish for the duration, millwall will bring 10,000 hooligans and ransack the town. Barnsley fans will be dressed as Leprechauns as a subterfuge to confuse SYP who will request reinforcements from our neighbouring counties in the form of unmarked riot police. Utter bedlam will ensue.. moins a pooint o Guinness and some good old oirish stew Brendan

Agree it's pathetic Pass. Best bit about it is Laura says "never mind we'll just go out round Wombwell after instead". I don't think women realise we're miserable sods at best of times and ale doesn't taste as good if we don't win

Will we be given a reason as to why we can't, seemingly Police a few hundred visitors on this occasion , but we can police 4 k from Boro or Derby , Wolves, and still kick off at 3 pm , it's a load of Ballax, and it's the Fans who are put out once again , I would love to know who has the dealings with SYP ,
Shabby Behaviour with no thought again for our Fans
    Improving matchday experience mi arse.
