Never be political based conflict in this country unless something catastrophic happens. Even though you can see the way the Labour Party is heading simply by looking at the people JC is putting around him he wouldn't be catastrophic. Well not until he bankrupts the country in that good old tried and tested socialist way.

In all honesty I am not sure he would get much through parliament on a fully socialist agenda unless he ended up with a massive majority which you just cannot imagine - it would be completely watered down in order to appease the more centrist factions within Labour.

At least that's a voice of reason from the right. What actually happens is Labour gets in, does some stuff which offends some but is harmless enough as far as most are concerned, then people decide they want a change, so the Tories get in and reverse it all and do their own stuff. Rinse and repeat, at least since I was born in 1960.

One would hope so. And on a purely personal basis, I am screaming out for a party that is centrist, reasoned and fair. Unfortunately pigs will fly.

We shoot em, of course, and leave them to die in the snow... just like in Dr Zhivago.
Oh dear, Smiffster, you seem to have quite lost your sense of humour.

No sidders. Don't try your usual slope shoulders "sense of humour" response.

Bloody hell jonny, I thought your post was one of the most absurd I've ever read on here, but you already appear to have got a couple of fellow drama queens agreeing with you. I can just imagine the three of you trembling under your bedsheets tonight in nervous anticipation of this Armageddon that Corbyn is about to unleash!
