    Micah RICHards

500 days since he last played for us. 35 grand a week salary. However, it gets better - if we get promoted it will go back up to his premier league salary of 70,000 per week.

There is a special place for "footballers" like him and that bellend Rodwell

Who signed Richards? I rembet thinking it was a master stroke at the time (on a free) but can't there be new rules where you only.get your wages if you actually play?!

Richards contract doesn’t expire until June 2019 either Sam. 😖.

Tim Sherwood was the manager when he signed but probably someone else’s brilliant idea.

I reckon it was all Sherwood because it was outside of the money-ball approach of Fox & Reilly.

Now - Richards got injured vs Wolves last season, I was at that game and he'd played well until he went off. Since he's been back fit he's been way down the pecking order so not his fault he's not being picked. His agent will have negotiated his salary and terms, more fool the recruitment team at AVFC - don't blame him at all, who wouldn't sign on those terms!

Sherwood tried passing the buck saying most of the signings were not his. Richards and Lescott were defiantly his. The combination of the board making poor signings and then Sherwood doing the same sent us down.
To be fair the combination of RDM and SB signings have been overall very good.

"Defiantly his". Almost right Bongo, but very poetic nonetheless.

Disgusting tbh and personally I can’t help but think he’s milking it as surely Bruce would be considering him as part of the match day squad at the moment with the injury’s we’ve got of he was showing some desire ??

Surely there would be a clause in all footballers contracts in regards to form, injury etc

Eg. 100% of wage plus bonuses for win, goal, assist, clean sheet depending on role
    75% of wage if injured
50% of wage long term injury or not in team
