Sounded like a very average second half. STILL haven’t won 2 games on the trot since September.

At least it wasn't a defeat so have to look at the positives... 4 monster home games left this season, Wycombe, Mansfailed, Coventy and Luton so its in our hands

Sounded like we hung on in the second half.

We aren't getting anywhere near enough wins on the road and listening to the games, it just sounds like we aren't putting enough pressure on teams, aren't taking our chances and aren't defending robustly enough. The likes of Cheltenham are the teams we should be looking to take 6pts from.

We also really need to get a winning sequence together soon to stand any chance of getting into the automatics at the end of the season.

Good peno shout from Stead earlier, my personal MOM, who went 1 on 1 with the keeper before being upended.....need to see it again on the highlights.

Summary, Chelters like passing it around.....we are playing the long ball and getting the better chances
......and eventually they manage to score from one of their 14 shots, 7 on target......pretty much honours even but I cannot help feeling we should be beating these lower~placed teams......no teeth in midfield, hoofing it away without any proper direction or plan and eventually we concede the goal and almost ended up losing.

We need to play better against FGR.

How did the best team in our League get in against them?

Back up to 3rd ahead of Wycombe on goal difference, Newport v FGR 3 - 3

Forest Green scored 3 on the road tonight.... could be a nervous one indeed

TBH you could see their goal coming, we were sitting deeper and deeper having surrendered midfield....they starting taking potshots from the edge of the box and almost scored 3 minutes earlier which got the crowd going.

I guess the point is handy, but this looked like a comfortable 3 points after we had scored......onwards and upwards....FGR should be more interesting

Yet again we surrender the midfield in favour of hoof ball. How can we have so many midfielders to pick from and not find four that can play together?
