All we did was to constantly kick the ball aimlessly up field, only for it to keep coming come straight back. We didn't win any headers against there big centre backs, but we continued doing it all thru the game. How on earth Nolan can say that we dominated the first half is beyond me, for many periods they were just knocking the ball around and we couldn't get hold of it. It was just a case of more Hoof ball rubbish....
I’m kind thinking the same myself on the basis that out of the remaining ten games we have four tough cup final home games coming up against Mansfield, Wycombe, Coventry and Luton. Not winning away puts more pressure on us to win these home games. Whilst the formula for success is to win at home and draw away and we have excellent home form it would be good to pick up some wins on the road. Out the last three away games we only have 1 point from 9.
That’s why we really should be trying to beat FGR on Sat then this will put us on 65 points which is a good position to be in going into the Mansfield game.
As if anyone would be happy with a season of consolidation in the 3rd season in that awful league.
If we are still in this division next season and still playing this awful type of football, then we will get relegated. All the other teams, including the bottom ones have now sussed out how to play against us. The worrying thing is that we dont have a plan B.. KN seems to be void of of any other tactic other than Hoof Ball...
Consolidation in a league where the eventual champions may well be a club that gets 1000 home fans every week. Haha.
