Strange first half.....we appear to be letting them pass the ball around, but stealing it back around our peno area and wacking it long to Stead and Shola and hitting them on the break.....Shola has drawn 3 or 4 fouls, Stead is chasing around like a demon....he created our goal by sprinting to the corner flag, cutting back inside and feeding a completely unmarked Hawk who smashed it home.

Good peno shout from Stead earlier, my personal MOM, who went 1 on 1 with the keeper before being upended.....need to see it again on the highlights.

Summary, Chelters like passing it around.....we are playing the long ball and getting the better chances

Exeter now have 3 games in hand though.

Should we go on and win tonight they will be 6 points behind us with 3 games in hand. At this stage of the season I would sooner us have the points on the board rather than games in hand, because that is three mid-week games between now and the end of the season they will play that we won't.

Games in hand will only work in their favour if they go on a winning run and can keep their players fit and fresh.
