MATCH DAY POST: Ipwich Town v The Mighty Blades

So after the disappointing, though largely expected defeat at Fulham, today presents a reasonable opportunity to put things back on track. Mind you we've only won 1 of the last 19 visits in league matches at Portman Road. A repeat of the FA cup result would be wonderful this afternoon, and Ipswich have not won 3 consecutive matches since the start of this season....

    Anyway...

    Any team news?

    Unchanged from midweek?

    Unless Clarke is fit?

Need more use of Brooks as he returns to full fitness?

No easy games in this division, and to beat a team 3 times in a single season is difficult. However, if we are to make real progress as far as the play offs are concerned, these are the type of games we need to be winning. Defeat today, could see us slip behind the rivals above, and indeed a position, but only 1 as a maxiumum to be fair. So a win is the order of the day, and I fancy a tight 2-1 Blades victory with Sharp having a hand in both goals

    Safe journey all, and....

Its never been a happy hunting ground for us but there could be worse places to visit at this point in the season.

We should win games like these if we are going to maintain our push for the playoffs.....honestly there's nothing to lose at this point in the season.... so let's GO FOR IT!

Safe and happy travels to all Blades

We might sneak a win, they are'nt a "mid table Prem side in the waiting",just an ordinary "mid table Championship side".

So its possible we could win,but its also possible they will win.

    2-1 to either.

Lundstram > Evans > Fleck midfield again, been tried before and it did not work and it wont work today,Lundstram/Evans too similar all they do is sideways backwards tippy/tappy not forward thinking enough.

If Holmes is fit enough for the bench then he should be starting, ffs.

Suppose he will change it when its too late and we are losing.

As Warnock used to say " wouldn't score in a brothel".

Couple of times with chances to shoot we went for the extra pass and lost the opportunity.
