We'll blatantly bid 1.5 million then.
Agreed that if he wants to stay and we stump up he'd be a great signing.
...according to Ronnie Gill.
Obviously we don't know what our budget will be or who will e in charge, etc but I think this would be a no brainer -if he wants to stay, that is?

Think for £15 million, they'll throw in some shin guards as well?
Has anyone asked Kenedy about this?..
while we sing the praises of the area i doubt its high on the bucket list for many players .
If £15 m is correct there will be a loads after him with realistic european hopes and not just a season long relegation battle to offer.
Aint gonna happen.
and Rafa will be long gone by sept anyway.
I think Kennedy would be happy to stay and get game time,if he goes back to Chelsea he will get the odd cup game same as before.
If Kenedy produces the good for us and builds in fitness and confidence as he appears to be, then no way in hell are we looking at a player on 15 million.
In today's mental transfer climate Chelsea would most likely stick a 30 million tag on him, minimum, taking into account that they don't seem to plan on selling him.
Would he be worth 30 million with a hefty wage to go with it and be happy plying his trade in the north east of England with it's climate?
Possibly, depending on how much he trusts the club and manager.
Would we be making a stern rod for our own backs if we up the ante for someone like Kenedy?
Most likely and in order for us to play on the Kenedy scales, we'd have to play on the high scales with a few quality add ons to accompany him and to compliment him as he will them.
Would that be with Ashley or a no go?
Would it be with a consortium or a very wealthy owner?
Who knows...but we'll soon find out in a few short months.
£30m? LOL. I think even Chelsea wouldn't try demanding that for one of their castoffs.
Would be a brilliant buy for £15m in today's market. But this whole conversation is moot unless the future of the club is sorted. Higher priorities are:
1) Rafa. I can see him walking after Jan window debacle and the sale farce
2) Fat Pig ain't spending a penny
3) Amanda Staylovely doesn't have the money to put on the table. Maybe she is sitting on her hands until PL status is secured
....but unless the business side of the club is sorted, 15 millions of quids is fool-fool talk. If the papers are to be believed (and they're not), keeping hold of Lascelles might be the highest priority within the playing staff.
