Not like you to embrace the support of Macron and Merkel, Ram man. Who’d ‘ave thought it?
Pleased to see they, and the rest of the EU, have offered us their unconditional support, IF Russia are proved to be complicit in this whole tawdry and tragic affair. Makes me glad to be part of such a supportive union.
All I, and others, are saying is...let’s see some evidence before we start making accusations. It’s fairly reasonable procedure isn’t it?

‘Carped on for years throwing tantrums’...MoP. Really? We only had the Referendum 21 months ago and I’ve simply argued the case. No tantrums that I can remember, haven’t resorted to name calling, denouncement etc. I know Brexiteers and certain Tories are not keen on experts or actual evidence but perhaps you, like Mr. Johnson and Co, could actually provide some evidence before making such accusations.

Slight point of clarification, relax your EU-hug just for a mo because the EU HAVEN'T (or hadn't when you wrote this) unconditionally supported UK, just Germany and France as independent nations. There's a lot of confusion around in general about what is and what isn't done on behalf of EU, to suit each person's agenda. Looks like they WILL support some time today once we've asked them, not sure we should have needed to IMO.

On the Brexit issue, I think your now fairly lonely forum rearguard action in favour of EU has been well fought, regretably that seems to go against the grain of many remainers, and yesterday's TV was depressing watching with a succession of remainers as good as resorting to schoolyard-style 'boo hoo its not fair' antics (and I must admit, some equally childist ripostes). I've been amazed to see how many folk have let this decision really get under their skin...

    ***ism against women

It isn't all rosy and both of them have got away with murder, with their refusal to compensate, or apologise properly.
It was a US court injunction which prevented the Sea Shepherds from closing down the Japanese whaling fleet which were very nearly forced out of whaling. Also Germany did not create the current refugee problem by meddling & bombing the Middle East & Afghanistan.

When the wall came down many West Germans fed up with urbanisation opted to relocate to the East which relatively unspoilt.

Nice try Basil. 80% of migrants are not refugees. FACT-
Merkel's come and get it policy saw to that.
So now we have half of Africa and Pakistan trying to get in. All "refugees" should be repatriated when safe to do so, just they were in WW2.
No mention of the compensation claims I see. Considering these two are now in the top 5 of economies.

Germany's decimation of Europe and its thieving.
Japans murderous ways and exploitation of women, press ganged into *** slaves.

Not sure what you were watching Andy so I can’t comment. My comments to MoP were just that I don’t believe I’ve thrown any schoolyard ‘tantrums’. Consistent, stubborn, intransigent...repetitive even...I’ll admit to. Carping and tantrums aren’t in my repertoire, I hope.

That at least is true. Your Liberal naivety may not be to everyone's palette.
But you do behave like a gent.

As the EU is run by and for those two countries then the EU has, de facto, unconditionally supported the UK........

.............sorry, Andy, I couldn't let the opportunity slide.

ramAnag - Hang on, this isn't even the Brexit thread and you are going on about Brexit here!!! If that aint carping, I'm not sure what is!! Maybe its haddocking or pilcharding. I know I am guilty of perching, and you are now floundering, but after today's agreement it looks a wrasseing certainty that its going to proceed. See we can even have a fish competition without a Sammon to base it on
