    Vaulks, Towell and Palmer

Can we fit all three in the team without losing a proper centre half?

Do we change our system to 5 accross the middle?

I'm not sure that we can but after Tuesday nights game I would want to play Palmer!

    1. Yes we can fit all three in the team v Northampton, nothing to lose, 2nd spot has gone. It's not a win at all cost game on Saturday it's A ' do not lose ' game.

    2. Me personally I would play 5 across midfield, change it at half-time if things are not working.

    3. I would play Palmer from the start.

Ps....good job Paul Warne is choosing the team and not me.

    Really looking forward to Saturday......again.

we will be back on track saturday. drop towell, newell and forde for 1 or 2 games. freshen it up.
PW says its hard to change a winning team, well were not this week so it should be easy stick with 442,
last 20 min. 343 if were chasing a goal.. 451 if were defending a 1 goal lead...

i guess my answer to your question frog is yes we can accommodate all 3 if we start with a bit more pace out wide.. playing a midfield of newell, vaulkes, towell, palmer and forde is very negative going forwards.

    Addition to my post no.2.

Play Jon Taylor from the start as well as Palmer, freshen the side up, nothing to lose.

If PW picked the team on form both Centre-Backs from Tuesday night would be on the bench.
Put Vaulks at Centre-Back for one game only.

Put one of them behind striker

    4-4-1-1

Which means one striker up front so we need Taylor in the side

I’ve said time and time again, you put the players/ formation out that’s best on how we need to play to beat the opposition

Taylor should have started in the last two imo

What about Potter? Shouldn’t start just yet imo (not match fit we guess) but I wouldn’t be surprised if Warney panics and puts him in team

Doubtful Potter will start or even be in the squad topsy. Potter is due to get some game time in a reserve's match sometime soon.

On second thoughts Paul Warne & Co do sometimes work in mysterious ways to keep everyone guessing lol.
