    Sad passing .....

    I'm sure everyone has come to terms with the sad news today. One of Britain's greatest minds. He accomplished so much in his life.

    Alf, I would not have posted it to poke fun at either. Same with Ken Dodd.
    Its sad. In no way am I making light of their fulfilled and amazing lives. And in no way am I personally making fun of either.
    What I do know, and Sax mentioned it, all where renowned for their great sense of humour.

    For Hawking, its a celebration of a wonderful life. I'm just happy I happened to share the earth with one of the greatest minds of all time. People will still remember him in hundreds of years time.

    And Jim was in all our front rooms every Sunday tea time so we ALL have a soft-spot for both.
    I bet neither would want us to be sat around feeling miserable.
