TS should be pleased with what has happened this season but for me the cracks were ready to be split open several matches ago. For example, but for a keeper error we wouldn't have scored against Shrewsbury. Then came a 113minute error by Donny's keeper to gift us another 2 points. Hill (yes I dislike him too) was smart enough to realise our weak spots. Outbattle us in MF then hit us on the counterattack. Nearly all our goals come from set pieces so we're hardly likely to slice through the opposition as we don't have the skill necessary for this. MK Dons followed this blueprint, helped of course by Warne's amazing team selection and poor use of subs.

Get stuck into us and we revert to the standards of last season. Sad but true
Sadly, I think there is some truth in that, though I don't like to say it given how massively we have achieved.

We are a team whose strength is based more on fitness, passion and commitment and less on guile. We had a great run with Kieffer in the team and then were to some extent 'found out' - even before he left - and the opposition understood how to stop us from scoring. We regrouped and developed another formula which worked for an extended period. That was sustainable because we were able to rely on better quality substitutes and a rudimentary plan B. In the last four games the opposition seem to have worked us out again and seem increasingly confident about how to contain us. When we get worked out, our fragile defence loses confidence and tends to make more mistakes

In my view, if we are to regain our mojo and make the play-offs, we will need to rethink our approach again. I hope we have enough guile to do this

Some good points made there CT as I would expect.

Once we drop our levels of effort and commitment we're highly vulnerable against all teams in this division, especially those with something to play for both at the top and bottom. Let's hope Jimmy Floyd hasn't heard the news on the managerial grapevine but you can be sure Peterborough, Wigan, Plymouth and Charlton have, as well as so-called minnows.

Great posting Zilzal and a pleasure to see you back.

I hope that your health has improved.

Well done for ignoring Brin and his ignorant and disrespectful replies to your brilliant posts.

I went to the shocker of a game against the mighty Rochdale who did so brilliantly in the FA cup only losing 6-1 and thought what a horror show next season if this team got promoted.

Warne has already said that this is next season's squad maybe with up to 4 additions so may our God help us if we somehow return to the Championship.

This team,Warney's tactics and the frozen wallet of the silent one ......Can't wait!

Kempo - only just seen your post. Unfortunately my health is worse and I despair at the level of competency of both Sheffield and Rotherham GPs. I'm baffled at how these know nothing clowns ever qualify to practice. I've recently had dealings with Social Workers and they are equally inept.

Also I notice you're being vilified as much as ever. Even Monty falls in to the trap of connecting Zilzal with Shergar. Shergar was bumped off by the IRA in 1981 and Zilzal (the racehorse) I believe died a few years ago of colic (Sp). So where is the logic in all this tomfoolery or as I think of it, sheer stupidity.

PS I recently watched a programme by Jane McDonald on sea cruises. The whole experience looked hideous to me but if you and Mrs K enjoy it, then it's not for me or anyone else to deride it.

Does it matter if we come straight back down?

Will still get a season of watching better quality football.

And the club will sell more season tickets and make more money from TV.

If you talk in your sleep is it in the guise of Zil, IBS, Monty or whoever? Oops sorry you won't know that as you're asleep.

Can Mrs K help on this one?

Sorry but not surprised by your negative healthcare experiences.

Primary Care has deteriorated and to my eyes many of the newer GPs are more interested in finding ways to work less for more money and to devise ways via CCGs to line their pockets with money meant for patient care!

I wish you luck with your health and if I can ever be of any help re navigating around the Healthcare maze do not hesitate to ask.

Cruising suits us as the food and drink is fantastic..Mrs K has the sun and I am never far from the casino!

    Remember..When the fun stops stop.

    General opinions on this thread:

if we are lucky enough to go up we will be straight back down. Well Millwall aren't doing too bad are they?

Cant compete against the big boys. Answer all those millions are doing Hull or Blunderland much good at the moment.

No quality players of champions ship experience. Palmer, Newell, Vaulkes. All got something to prove.
