    It's nothing to do with foreign owners because we did the same last season under our then owner Patrick Cryne ,
    These prices are ridiculous I agree , £20 /£ 25 is more than enough ,
    Barnsley fans were charged £32 at the Lane this season.
    It was a below average crowd for us, so obviously many didn’t think the £32 was good value.

    No one has mentioned that Barnsley fans are also being charged £36 for tickets bought in advance at the Oakwell return fixture.
    If Barnsley fans buy any tickets on the day it goes up to £38.

    I suppose economics drives the prices up or down, supply and demand.
    If we sell out and there’s a big crowd at Oakwell then their category scheme is a success.

    If it’s a low crowd then Barnsley will take action and lower the category next season.

    barnsley might be in a different division next season and still think 25 quid is the maximum any team should be charging in the championship us included
