    Just to name one player.
He's way below the standard of keeper that we have.

at this moment in time, I couldn't give a monkeys chuff about england and the world cup. but that is only because we have a relegation battle to win.

once the league season is over, I will probably start to increase my interest until we go out softly and pathetically.

then I start looking forward to the 1st pre season friendly, and obsessing about the transfer window.

i reckon what england should do is have a protest regarding this acid attack thing
they should play the league games
and come home in the knockout stages

just like they do most years

I've never really followed England at International level,I was 19 when we won it but wasn't that fussed, watched it and was pleased we won but later when I went out there was no big celebrations in the Wallsend pubs and clubs like there was in the South.

Interesting that Sherwood as it seems the Engerland ambivalence up here goes back a long way. I feel we have more of an affinity with the Scottish than the south. Probably more with the Dutch as well given the amount of them in the Strawberry before Southampton and some other games.

If Putin doesn't stamp it out, there could be big trouble between the Russian bovver boy fans and the England supporters especially after all this trouble with the Russian death squads in the UK. Lots of fun and games in store this time I think.

no way do i feel any affinity with scotland as there are many jocks (not all) who delight in england losing and go as far as cheering englands opponents

Did you see that documentary a year back about the Russian hooligans and their fighting camps
Those guys are well organised and move in packs almost military style
    They are very scary
If it kicks off over there it could be a bloodbath
    Whatever we’re fifa thinking?
