Typical Queens putting you through the wringer and by following the twitter feeds as they came in at 2-0 at halftime I could not bear to follow the second half expecting the worst. It very nearly happened but what a great brilliant result which keeps up very much in the picture for that last fourth place. With everything very much still to play for Saturdays game now takes on greater importance and will need a good backing from the fans. I would like some of our statistical brethren to produce a breakdown of our home form against the away form for this season as it will make very interesting reading I am sure. Mon the South.

Thanks for this statistic. Therefore if our home form at least matched our away form, as is the convention, then Queens would be on around the 48 point mark and very much challenging for the second top spot!

That was a brilliant result up at Dundee Utd last night especially after 2 defeats in a row . Saturdays match against a good Livingston side is massive for us and a win would see us continue our push for a playoff place. The manager now has a selection nightmare on his hands after some great individual performances

What a reward us 40 odd fans got last night at Tannadice.
Dundee Utd did have more of the possession but the Queens team put in an excellent work related performance especially Dykes who played a part in all 3 goals and was absolutely knackered at full time (Well played big lad).
Great to be leading at half time but us Queens fans know that it is never over and the team does like to give as fans a few scary moments and it was disappointing to lose 2 goals with Rooney failing to clear well off the line and it was his foul that gave the free kick for the equalising goal which saw Naysmith taking him off for Fordyce.
I was fearing the worst was going to happen but what a stike from Thomson to win it and great to see out the last 15 minutes to hold out for a great victory that still gives as a chance for a play off spot.
Also great to see Dan Carmichael back on the pitch.

    Dobbie expected back on Saturday
As QOS King says above Lyndon was involved for all 3 goals. Set up the first, brought down for the penalty for the 2nd and played the ball back to Thomson for Joe to smash a great shot home for the 3rd. Dykes was excellent last night, he put in a real shift for the team and had some moments of real quality. Great to see.

I was fearful of Queens losing three straight League games for the first time this season but they certainly bucked the trend with a great performance at Tannadice.

Lyndon Dykes was also unlucky not to score after seeing his shot coming of the crossbar from about 20 yards.
Dykes showed what he can do up top but will more likely be moved positions again when Dobbie is back and he picked up his 6th yellow card in this match so a suspension is coming up for him.
